10 SMS examples to ask for a Google review
August 20, 2026 · 6 min read
A review-request SMS has to fit in a few lines. The client is often on the move, or just got home. Here are ten formulations you can use as is — personalized with the first name and business name.
None of these messages ask for a rating. Google forbids it, and it sounds fake. For the broader frame, read how to ask for a Google review or the page ask for a Google review.

Good practices
- One unique link, not an unreadable copy-paste of the Google profile.
- Name the business. An unknown number without a name gets ignored.
- Offer STOP / ARRÊT. Consent details are on our SMS page.
- Adapt the trade: a broker, an inspector and a contractor do not write the same sentence.
If you send the same texts often, Google review software avoids retyping them, and stops reminders as soon as the client clicked.
